What kinds of junk do you remove?+
Just about anything non-hazardous: furniture, appliances, mattresses, electronics, yard and storm debris, construction leftovers, hot tubs, sheds, whole-house cleanouts. If it's not radioactive, flammable, or biohazardous, we can probably take it.
How much does junk removal cost in River Falls?+
Prices start at $125 for a single item nearby and go up to $625 for a full 12-cubic-yard load. Everything is priced by volume, in writing, before we start. Our full price list is published on the pricing page — no phone gymnastics required.
Do you offer same-day service?+
Yes, most days. Call in the morning and we can usually be there by afternoon. Weekends and evenings work too — we're open 7 AM to 7 PM, seven days a week.
What areas do you serve?+
All of Pierce and St. Croix counties in Wisconsin, within 25 miles of River Falls. That covers Hudson, New Richmond, Somerset, Roberts, Hammond, Baldwin, Ellsworth, Prescott, Spring Valley, and everything in between. Beyond 25 miles it's a $3/mile travel add-on.
Are you licensed and insured?+
Yes. Kinnic Junk Removal LLC carries full liability insurance and disposes at licensed transfer stations. Ask and we'll send a copy of our insurance certificate before the job.
Do you remove appliances and refrigerators?+
Yes — fridges, freezers, washers, dryers, ranges, dishwashers, water heaters. Wisconsin bans appliances from the landfill, so we take them to a licensed recycler where the metal is recovered and the refrigerant is handled properly.
Do you take mattresses?+
Yes, any size, with or without a box spring. Flat rate of $110 per mattress ($185 for a mattress + box spring set). If it's clean and reusable, we try to route it to a donation partner.
Do you remove hot tubs?+
Yes. Once it's drained and sitting at ground level, we cut it into panels in place and haul it away — pricing from $450 depending on size and access. Not drained or not at ground level? Send a photo and we'll quote it. No crane, no wrecked deck.
Can you do estate cleanouts?+
Absolutely, and it's one of the things we're best at. We work at the family's pace, set aside anything you want kept or donated, and clear the rest room by room. Comfortable working with realtors, attorneys, and out-of-state family.
Do you work with realtors and property managers?+
Yes. We handle pre-listing cleanouts, foreclosure and eviction cleanouts, and rental turnovers on tight timelines. Net-30 invoicing available for established accounts.
Where does my junk actually go?+
Reusable items go to local donation partners. Metal goes to a scrap recycler. General waste goes to the GFL Transfer Station in Roberts, WI. Nothing gets illegally dumped — Wisconsin law makes that traceable back to the customer, which is why hiring a licensed hauler matters.
What can't you take?+
Hazardous waste: paint, chemicals, motor oil, propane tanks, ammunition, and medical waste like sharps or prescriptions. If you're not sure, text us a photo and we'll tell you where it does need to go.
Do you donate or recycle?+
Yes, whenever it's practical. Usable furniture and household goods get routed to local charities. Metal appliances get recycled. Electronics go to certified e-waste. Everything else goes to the licensed transfer station.
How do I get a quote?+

Do you charge extra for stairs?+
Yes — $25 per floor, or per carry over 75 feet. It's disclosed in your quote up front, never tacked on at the curb.
Should I price per-item or by load?+
For 1–3 items, per-item is usually simpler. Once you're combining a few things, a load price is often cheaper. Example: a couch, a dresser, and a mattress prices at $345 per-item — but that fits in about 1/4 of the trailer, so we'd quote the $225 load price instead. Not sure? Text a photo — we'll price it both ways and charge you whichever is cheaper.
What payment methods do you accept?+
Cash, credit or debit card, Venmo, and Zelle. Card payments add a 3% processing fee. Payment is due when the job is done — not before we start.
